This vacuum cleaner is the perfect option for those suffering with a bad back too. The flexi wand bends in a way that ensures you don’t have to move awkwardly to reach under low furniture and it also converts to a hand-vac which is great for cleaning the car, up the stairs, in the bathroom or on soft furnishings
Batteries: it’s great that there’s 2 – just make sure at least one is always fully charged
The suction is only ok. (Better on carpet than hard floor). Unfortunatly still needs a Large hoover for the big clean. for the price i was expecting more
I love this hoover, I never write a review until I have had the product for a while. I did have a dyson, which was ok, battery was rubbish and i thought it picked up ok, however since getting the Shark I am amazed at how much it missed on my carpets. I love the fact that I can hoover under the table without having to bend down, the battery will last for about 20mins which is about the norm for cordless vacs at the moment but it could do with longer as I do do half the house then charge and go back to doing the rest later, you can buy a spare battery but these are quite expensive.
So lightweight and easy to use and empty. Good suction, love the LED lights that show you where the dirt is! Won’t go back to corded.
Excellent hoover! Was going to buy a Dyson but I’m glad I didn’t. This hoover is not only cheaper but also does everything that a Dyson does, if not more. I love the fact that the hoover can bend under sofas, tables etc. You definitely need the twin battery pack though as a single battery will only give 20 mins of hoovering. It’s really easy to put together. You might want to walk round with a plastic bag to empty the container, as it fills up with dirt quite quickly. It has taken ages to decide which cordless hoover to buy as they are all so expensive, but just glad I didn’t go along with the Dyson hype – this hoover is worth every penny!
When emptying it sometimes not all the dirt comes out and you have to use your fingers, it’s tricky but not impossible and the brushes are easy to clean and remove hair from as there is a removable cover to access them from the top so you aren’t there with it upside down getting frustrated because you can’t get it all out!
Conclusion and Rating
The Shark duoclean is a model for hard work. Thoroughly cleans surfaces with less effort. For anyone with a lot of big rooms the two batteries are a must. No down time, you just swap it out. Well designed some innovative features. Highly recommended great product better than many of the higher prices models.
