what the buyers thought...

  1. I’d bought my elderly friend one of these earlier in the year and he loves it. IT BARELY USES ANY ELECTRIC, I witnessed this via his smart meter, so I ordered 1 for myself and iv had it on 1HOUR, and it’s at at level 2 and really cosy so working throughout (unlike the previous ones I’ve bought and returned!).
It’s cozy sheepskiny white on the underside and blue fleecy on the outer side and I love it already! PLUS IT WAS SAFETY SEALED, so I’m not being sold a return!!!! It is huge and soft and warm. I love the safety timer, (especially for my elderly wee pal who tends to forget to switch off).
I switch it on as soon as I get in, put the coffee on and just sit in comfort with my feet tucked under the bottom of it (yeah it’s that long) knowing I’m not giving the energy company a fortune. Everyone should buy this and stick the middle wicket up to their energy suppliers! xx
  2. Honestly thought this would be a blanket that got warm but my gosh I had it on setting 9 and was sweating it also stays on for 9 hours. I’m 5ft 3 and it does just fit me so if you are tall and like to stretch out this may not be for you unless you want it on top of your bed or under. The cable is fairly long, but defo keeps me warm 100% recommend
  3. This brand has a higher level of certification with regards to safety, so being something you have in close proximity, this was the highest priority. The cable can be disconnected from the blanket for washing with ease. The controls are straight forward and to be honest, it’s plenty warm at around 5 due to the materials used on both sides of the blanket being a higher pile.

No issues with the stitching or the general design/build. It’s pretty toastie without being plugged in and great for the late night “kids in bed, let’s watch some TV” routine, as well as heating the person and not the house during the working day.

Could it be cheaper? No, because that would mean a lower level of quality, so you do get what you pay for here, which is plenty! Although it was on a price reduction when purchased, so keep an eye out.
