The Chefman in Everyday Use

The Chefman air fryer is not a big unit, and would clearly suit 1, or maybe 2-person use.

Looking at the comparison table, there is a range of sizes from 3.5 to 12 litre capacity, so this is one of the smallest.

The 1200w heater then is more than adequate and would result in definite savings in electricity, cooking over a year.

Operation is easy, load the drawer with the food, and set the temp and time.

The dials will need cleaning carefully, there is a risk that the numbers will wear off.

Chefman - Dial Controls

Conventional dial type controls arranged concentrically, setting the time 0 to 60 minutes and Temperature  200 to 400 in degrees Fahrenheit

Whats in the box?

This perforated disc is the basket tray, it is not well explained how you remove your red-hot food with the tray handle! I would think the whole drawer is basically used as the basket, which means any oil will pour out together with the food?

What buyers of the Chefman Air Fryer said...

1 Still learning how to use this .. but so far so good.. cooks chicken perfectly in half the time of a over .. saving money on electricity
2 Perfect size for 2 people
Ordered this air fryer as a middle range item, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.
Still an excellent air fryer which is easy to use, due to the 2 dials, for time and temperature.
3 Good size for 2 people, not a big family size. But big enough to cook chips for 2/3 people.
Excellent turbo cooking too which will save energy. Overall I’m very happy with it and have already bought one for my Mum too.
4 Very good item, but could be just a little bigger. No good for more than two, too small to cook a small chicken
5 This has replaced our expensive fan oven and frying pan use overnight for 90% of our cooking. It’s fast, economic, and healthy because of the reduced fat or even zero fat requirement. Ideal for cooking for two people – if you have a bigger family, you’ll need a larger unit, but this is fine for a couple.

My Conclusion:

The Chefman is a standard design, the heater is large for the size, the user guide isn’t the most detailed document I’ve ever seen, and the price is a little above the competition, but represents decent value  I gave this model 6/10
